Admission is free and we are open to the public.
Access to the Library is through revolving glass doors or an accessible door on the right hand side of the entrance (please ring the bell and a member of staff will open the door).
Please ask at the Helpdesk on the ground floor of the Library for assistance with entry through the security gates (Manchester Metropolitan University staff and students swipe in with an ID card).

Travelling to Special Collections
We are part of Manchester Metropolitan University’s Manchester Campus which is situated close to the city centre and is well served by public transport. We are located on the 3rd floor of the All Saints Library, building number 4 on the Campus Map (previously known as the Sir Kenneth Green Library).

There is limited on-road parking and multi-story car parking facilities around the Manchester Campus, although spaces are limited and parking charges are expensive. Whenever possible, please use public transport.

Special Collections is a university museum and, as such, there are regular teaching sessions, tours and talks taking place in our Education Space and Gallery. If you would prefer to visit at a quiet time, please contact us in advance and we can suggest some dates for you to visit.
